Please be reminded that you all have to do the service reflection for APEL 2. It is included as one of our accessment. The important thing you all have to take note:

The quality of your reflection will be graded so it is very important to write a meaningful report to earn the grade. If your report is not meaningful, it shows that you have not learned from the service reflection, and you have not met the APEL 2 requirements. Your APEL Facilitator may advise you to re-submit another service reflection, as long as you can meet the submission deadline. Alternatively, you will be regarded as NOT fulfilling the APEL Task requirements.
Upon submission, print two hard copies of your completed report for (i) submission to your APEL FAcilitator, and (ii) filing in your APEL Portfolio.
You will need to bring your APEL Portfolio (including the Service Reflection) to class for review during the APEL 2.8, and again for assessment during APEL 3.8.

Please take note that in order to access the survey, you internet explorer must be version 7 or below. So those with version 8 can only access it in TP computer.

In order to do the survey, go to the TP website, and then go to your student portal website. In addition, move your mouse icon to APEL section and find APEL 2: Community Service Reflection .

Hey guys, I know tests are OVER! Whooooo, so go party! ;) but a few of us will still be in school like normal school days. Yes we have nothing better to do eh=)
Anyways, a few of us were cleaning out the ASc log room, helping dear Firdaus, and I find tons of photos from our orientation way back in..oh last year. But i couldn't steal all the pictures because of unforseen circumstances (which were everyone was stealing pictures and I couldn't find the rest, there were too many!) The rest were of us sitting in the LT and all stone-faced. Then our classic bored-out-of-our-lives face when Vijaya was talking to us. So heres the best one and my favourite, please don't cry like some people.
Note: the best part of the photo is how fresh, young and oh so innocent we look. HAHAH! Enjoy=)

Hello CSAS2 Students

Please take note of the following submission deadlines:

PPT slides

each student is to submit a printed copy of the final PPT slides by 5pm on Friday 23 Jan through your class rep to your tutor who will let you know whether they prefer that your class rep delivers personally or through the tutor's letter box) -- each student's set of slides (6 slides per page in 'grayscale') is to be SEPARATELY printed. Do not merge the whole group's slides into one printed copy as marks are awarded for each individual student.
each group is to submit a CD containing group members' final PPT slides also by 5pm on Friday 23 Jan

Speech Outline

each student is to submit together with the final PPT slides a printed copy (not handwritten) of the draft Speech Outline using the template from the BB.
The final Speech Outline (using the BB template) is to be submitted at the beginning of your class session in Week 41 regardless of your scheduled oral presentation (e.g. if your class session is on 28 Jan and your turn to make the presentation is on 11 Feb, you are required to submit your final Speech Outline on 28 Jan to your tutor during the class session)
There is a penalty for late submissions. Please refer to the Teaching Plan in your CSAS2 Study Guide as well as the Research Presentation Instructions and Mark Scheme in the 'Assignments' folder here.

I have booked a chalet on the 13th October. Ms Hun paid for the booking so we have to pay for our own food. YAY! It is so gonna be FUN and I cant wait to see all of you guys. Everybody will be there except for Vannesa(in overseas), Denise(has to attend smething), firdahus(school meeting) and zul(school meeting). Everybody pls bring 10$ for the food and bring card games.

Hey guys! Hope you're having fun during the holidays without me! haha! Anyways, chalet? Tell me what you think before i book alright?

Pricing of the chalet itself should be between 100-140 plus GST which i'm hoping Han will cover for us with the 100 bucks that we got. Soooo we'll only have to pay for our food and whatever! Sounds good? It'll come up to say $$15 per person? Depends on how many people come of course, soooo call everyone including the guys! Also ask if you can stay over too! Academic Transcript / Examination Results

The Registrar's Office maintains the official Academic Record for all Full-Time and Part-Time subsidised courses taken in the Polytechnic.

Students under the Part-Time subsidised courses will receive their semester's examination result slip via mail within two weeks after the release of the semestral examination results. Full-Time students who have completed their course of study will receive an official Academic Transcript via mail approximately three weeks after the release of the final semestral examination results.

Active full-time students may check for their semester examination results and the updated summary of examination results via the Online Services in the student portal upon the release of the semestral examination results.

YEAHHH . . for those who registered for the exam results via sms service.. u should have received ur results already [ i hope i wasnt pranked-.-]yeah . so.. i guess if u didnt register for the sms service. u would have to go online and check.
